Project Description
Four-townhouse exterior painting and cedar shake staining in Fremont was completed by Interland Painting for a residential property group in Seattle, WA. Each townhouse received one color on the main body, a separate trim color, and stain on the cedar shake siding.
The three-week project involved three distinct exterior finishes across four homes. Painted and stained surfaces were handled separately to maintain clear color lines and a consistent appearance throughout the property.
Exterior painting was completed with Sherwin-Williams SuperPaint Exterior Acrylic Latex. The cedar shake siding received an exterior stain rather than paint, allowing the wood texture to remain visible.
Background/Story
This project covered four townhouses rather than one individual home. Keeping the body color, trim color, and cedar shake finish consistent across the group required an organized painting sequence.
The two-color paint plan separated the main exterior surfaces from the trim details. Staining the cedar shake created a different finish that preserved the natural look of the wood.

Results
The completed townhouses now share a coordinated exterior appearance. The separate body and trim colors give the buildings clear definition without making the group look mismatched.
Stained cedar shake adds natural wood character alongside the painted surfaces. Completing all four townhouses as one project also created consistent color placement and finish quality across the property.
